Barcelona electronic music duo b1n0 (pronounced ‘bino’), formed by Emili Bosch and Malcus Codolà, meanders between ones and zeros undulating in their wake sounds that fuse electronic experimentation with pop delicacy, in the same vein as names like The Blaze, James Blake, Mura Massa or Tyler, The Creator. In the recipe for their particular cocktail, we find all kinds of instruments (using the infinite possibilities of synthesizers and samplers) combined with the sounds produced by different everyday objects.

b1n0’s proposal is structured from the absence of a fixed singer and is dressed through the thousand and one possibilities that arise. Until then the duo has used the “featuring” format to dress up those songs that have required vocals. Ferran Palau, Nuria Graham, El Petit De Cal Eril, Meritxell Nedermann, Tarta Relena, Marina Herlop and Ariano Galante have been some of the singers who have collaborated on their songs. To this day, experimentation through sampling, the creation of new timbres and taking renowned Catalan pop voices outside their comfort zones has been the flagship of the b1n0 project.
For its this second album, b1n0 prepares one more step in this adventure. Together with Voctro Labs the duo has created a new voice, from the fusion of the singers from their first album (‘b1n0’ 2019). A new voice, to accompany the entirety of this new album. Using the resources offered by this software, b1n0 aims to blur the boundaries between the machine and the human voice.
